Ithaca MobilePack 09/24 -09/27 (Update)
Important Update! - The location of the 2026 IMP event has changed from the New York Army National Guard Armory in Ithaca to:
First Congregational Church of Ithaca, United Church of Christ (UCC)
309 Highland Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850
Please note that the September 24-27 packing dates remain the same; however, the change in packing location to the First Congregational Church of Ithaca UCC comes with an increase in the meal goal and a later packing shift start time Sunday, September 27 (of 1:00 p.m. rather than 10:00 a.m.).
Our new goal for 2026 is to pack 264,384 meals – and to reach it, we are still in urgent need of more than 100 volunteers!

- Thursday, Sept. 24, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. - spaces available
- Friday, Sept. 25, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. - spaces available
- Friday, Sept. 25, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. - spaces available
- Friday, Sept. 25, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. - spaces available
- Friday, Sept. 25, 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. - especially in need of packers
- Saturday, Sept. 26, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. - spaces available
- Saturday, Sept. 26, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. - spaces available
- Saturday, Sept. 26, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. - especially in need of packers

What's a MannaPack?
A MannaPack is an effective and nutritious meal formula comprised of Rice, Soy, Vitamins, and Veggies. Each package feeds a child for a day. Feed My Starvinf Children (FMSC) meals are developed by food science and nutrition professionals to supplement nutritional needs and reduce problems with malnutrition. Nutrition allows children to grow, thrive and develop to their full potential. $.29 pays for one MannaPack meal.
About Packing
Each year approx. 1,000 volunteers in the local Ithaca area come together to pack MannaPack meals over approx. four days. Learn more about the packing experience and its effects at https://www.fmsc.org/about-us

Cleanup After Pack - after we reached have reached our yearly goal… And the pack has ended… We can always use a few more people to help clean up and load up the trailers
